This arrangement alongside the birds, et al. reminds me of a modern version of those still life paintings with the fruit and flowers--minus the fruit. That's for some other day. I'm a huge fan of green (can you tell?) and I love to pair bright/pale green with the deep color of the purple smoke bush. Simple and sophisticated--this arrangement would complement just about any room.
