Valentine's day is almost upon us and I thought I would share a picture of one of my favorite red flowers. It's a "Ferrari" amaryllis--I bet you can imagine where it got the name. Though these beauties are available as cut flowers, I much prefer them growing in a pot. They last longer that way, plus you you get to watch them grow.
